Can anyone set me straight on the install procedure for FF5.3? I've read you need to install either the original Falcon 4.0 from the CD or Falcon 4 Allied Force from the CD before installing FF5.0 and patching to 5.3.
Do the respective versions need their newest patches applied before installing the Free Falcon files? (1.0.13 for AF And 1.08 For Falcon 4.0) Thanks for your help.

No need for anything but the FF5.3 installer. Simply download it and run it. Though note that FF5.3 has issues running on Vista/Win 7 OS with Nvidia graphic cards.
You can get it to to work on new systems, but there is a definite dance. Recommend that you read up on the threads over at the FreeFalcon web forum for details, especially before installing. For example, if installing on Vista, do not install in Program Files folder. Create a new folder such as Games off C or some other configuration.
If you have an XP box though and an ATI card, you are golden with FF5.3! FF5.5 coming soon too?!

This is a deep conspiracy and involves a global team of moderators, frequent contributors, and employees of NASA and SpaceX. This cabal reaches to the very top with AMAs by both Elon Musk and Tory Bruno contributing to the scheme.

Hundreds of dollars, possibly over $1,000 (that's a THOUSAND, folks, some serious cash) of patch sales have been generated by this scam. And just because the patches are real, of high quality, and worth every penny paid for them does not reduce the simple fact that this is a long con. We need to call for congressional investigations.
Ethan is right on both, but the SpaceX t-Shirts on the store are of great quality. I wear my Pad Abort way to much and washing hasn't seemed to bother it.
Cape museum has the same price for all their Spacex patches (good), but they have gone to a set of mail options that in my opinion is a bit high in price. About $8 for one patch. The system provides very accurate tracking etc and fast delivery, but I can wait an extra week for normal mail delivery if it saves me several dollars.
They are a great and very helpful group in all regards however. Just like to see a cheaper option for single object mailing.
The usaspace.com has better shipping, but their price per patch varies based on demand. Some times as high as 10-11$ for the same $6 patch from the museum. Never spoken with them directly except in looking for missing patches which they indicated they would 'soon have available' SpaceX store has good tracking on their shipping and the speed is mediocre, but OK.
They do take great pains to ensure you are happy with your merchandise. Heard many stories of how they bent over backwards to satisfy people who needed to return a product due to something that was not SpaceX' fault.
