I have an old shotgun that I've had more than forty years. It's just taking up space in my safe and never shot. It is in fair to good condition with some of the bluing coming off the barrel but no rust. Is there any value to this old beast? If I sell it or give it away does it need to be drosed?

Sold firearms under the following models and who manufactured them.

I believe it is over fifty years old. What about the same thing only with an air rifle. I'm talking about a RMS Diana.177 pellet rifle. This requires no paperwork to sell or give away, correct??? Appreciate any advice.
