Hi, here in Belgium we got fast internet (if you're lucky) but we still use a download limit that is reset every month. A friend of mine has been complaining that his limit (probably around 50-100GB/month) is done before the month is over (yes he uses Netflix). So he wants to know which device uses up the most of this download limit. I've read tons of possiblities to watch bandwidth usage (f.i. With Spiceworks Network Monitor) but you can only see the current usage of the bandwidth.

Not how much in total every device has downloaded. I've been searching the Google for a while now but I can't seem to get my answer. Do I look in the 'log' files of the switch/router? Maybe the numer of total packets transmitted to each ethernet port? How to see what wireless devices consume (data wise)? (tagging my friend - Alecovich). You could turn it on and it will give you an overview of which PC uses the most, and even which apps/sites. As for the Belgian Internet, I'm in the same boat:).

Luckily my monthly limit got raised to about 500GB/mo so I'm happy now. I should try this. I have 'unlimited' internet (Telenet) which is still limited in a way so.

They should really stop doing these limits! It's so medieval.

But my cousin (and his family) use a lot of Netflix and youtube. On top of that they are in a remote location so the speed is only so so. You should see the plus sign appear.

Then start typing the name of the person you want to tag. It should do an autocomplete dropdown for you. GarfieldMaximus Or just type it underneath the comment box where you can '+ Tag more products, vendors, and people' OK thanks. I see the box here under but I only have a + next to an image to add a file. I just typed you in and dragged you to the text box here. I guess that works.

We don't see this 'traffic statistics', we only see 'traffic monitor' but with that we can't see which devices uses up all the bandwidth. Do we have to install some other firmware? Or is it an other router we need?
